Sixth-Grade Vocabulary

Description

Vocabulary is hard enough to use correctly and when students’ vocabulary is lacking, so are their reading skills.  Limited vocabulary is a barrier to students, that’s why I created this vocabulary builder to engage students in high-interest reading.  It has 10 vocabulary words that have been identified as difficult for students but can be easily taught using the lesson plan and bookmarks.  There are two high-interest stories included – fiction and nonfiction – with annotation spaces.  There is a answer key included!
