This INFERRING activity is designed to build your students’ critical thinking skills while they have fun creating an ending to the story.  They will use background knowledge to choose inferences for the story.  In the end, they will read the inferences and make a paragraph to match their choice. 

 

You can use it as:

  • bell-ringer 
  • your own Halloween themed unit
  • center activities
  • distance learning.
